"I'm going to win this for you." That is what I whispered into my little sisters ear on August 28th, 2019; right before I left for Pittsburgh to compete in the North American Bodybuilding Championships. Patrice was laying inside of University of Michigan's Critical Care Unit right after an unsuccessful surgery. Don't Come To Me Complaining When Your Body Isn't Changing-Lift Weights!

To me, this is not a debate, but before I dive into the reasoning weight training is the most important aspect in actually CHANGING your body make-up physically, let's identify what weight training really is. Dictionary.com defines weight training as, "Physical training that involves lifting weights." Simple right? Yes, the definition is simple, but it is much more important and complex than that.
